Here you go, with a result of a creative weekend. It was interesting and new and colorful and creative. Sunday morning was filled with some not-yet-known materials, paints and techniques… Pentacolor was holding workshops to introduce some of their new products… And while it was all about getting to know these new paints with workshops, my photographer me couldn’t help not to document it all… 🙂 It is share time, aaand I’ll try to explain it all… 🙂
Egy igazán kreatív hétvégét tudhatok magam mögött… Pentacolor termékbemutatóján vehettem részt, ahol nem csak az újdonságok megismerésével, de kipróbálásával is töltöttünk egy délelőttöt. Így veletek is meg tudom osztani ezt az egyszerűen elkészíthető projektet…:)
Igyekeztem dokumentálni, a lépéseket, de ha bármi kimaradt volna, vagy nem egyértelmű nyugodtan kérdezzetek 🙂

STEP 1. Use palette knife to apply gesso onto the canvas… it will give a more rustic look and in this way the ink won’t soak into the canvas. Wait until the base is completely dry.
Festőkéssel vigyük fel a gesso pasztát a vászonra, ez egy alapot fog adni a képünknek. Nem csak a rusztikus hatás miatt érdekes, hanem így a vászon nem fogja majd beszívni a tintát 🙂 Várj amíg teljesen megszárad az alapozó.
STEP 2. The fun part. That’s when you can go crazy with the ink… use any colors you like, try to find the balance within the pic… 🙂 I know it’s hard to stop it because these technique is pretty addictive. Meanwhile splashing the ink you can rotate or blow it so the ink will run in nice random ways…:)
A kedvenc részem jön… itt lehet igazán játszani a tintával és a színekkel…:) A tintát csepegtetni, fújni, folyatni lehet, erősségekkel játszani. Érdemes figyelni, hogy hova akar az ember hangsúlyt helyezni…
STEP 3. Let the ink is dry, and mean while let’s continue with the embellishments… We used the Sizzix cutter to get some cute ornaments… but you can use some nice ready to go chipboards too.
Amíg a tinta szárad folytassuk a díszítő elemek előkészítésével… Sizzix géppel vágtuk ki ezeket, de akár kész chipboardokkal is lehet helyettesíteni.
STEP 4. Use glitter paste to glam up these shapes/chipboard.
Jöhet a glitterpaszta…:)
STEP 5. Get your papers ready… try to fit them on the canvas, and then tear the edges. Do the same with the other one, and just layer them… tape them together – use double sided tape. Find a photo you like… 🙂
A mintás papírokat helyezzük a vászonra… nézd meg, hogy hogyan is fér el a vásznon. Ezeknek akár tépheted minden oldalát, vagy csak egyet… ahogy tetszik 🙂 Rétegezd a papírokat, kétoldalas ragasztóval könnyen összeragasztható-felragasztható.
STEP 6. After the glitterized shapes are all dried then tape them on to the canvas.
Ha a glitterpasztázott díszítő elemek megszáradtak, ragasszuk fel őket…:)
STEP 7. If you want you can use the glitter paste on the canvas…just to give a little shine…:)
Ha akarsz még egy kis csillogást… a tintás részeket is dekorálhatod egy kis glitterpasztával 🙂
And then your mixed media art project should be ready ready…:)
